Approve Content from the Notification Email

As a member of the Content Managers group, when content is in need of approval, each content manager will receive an e-mail similar to the following :

There are two ways to approve content when receiving the request for approval email.

Method #1 - Open This Task

1) Should you as the Content Manager already know the content needing approval is correct, simply click on the Open this task button.

2) A dialog box will appear where you will be able to either Approve or Reject the document.

3) The Expert of the document will receive an email stating the content has been approved. Bid Managers are now able to use the document in Projects as it is now approved.

 

Method #2 - Hyperlink

1) Should the Content Manager be unaware of the contents of a document needing approval, they would click on the document hyperlink to open the document.

2) The document will proceed to open and a yellow Workflow Task bar will appear below the Microsoft Word ribbon. Click on Open this Task to Approve or Reject the content.

3) The Expert of the document will receive an email stating the content has been approved. Bid Managers are now able to use the document in Projects as it is now approved.
